I have always been a lover of art and somewhat of a free spirit, needless to say went on to study art at university, as I wanted to pursue my life’s passion. I went through a devastating 3’rd year when one of my lecturers decided my work wasn’t good enough to put me though to my 4’th and final year. I wanted to throw in the towel as my dreams had been crushed in a big way… but thanks to my father, who has always been our compass, with his never-accept-defeat outlook, convinced me to switch gears and I completed my BA degree in Visual Studies the next year. This turned out to be the best move I could have made as a successful career in art can be quite a challenge.
